Here are some pictures of my South Goodwin Lightship. The kit is from Eastern Express in the 1/110 scale. The kit was quite OK in view of the quality, however the masts were no good, so I replaced them through wooden sticks, that were thinned down from top to bottom. The main deck was originaly in 1 piece but the one in my box was broken in the middle (I got it from a car boot sale, so no chance to get it replaced or to get the lolly back. The included reilings and anchor chains were also replaced - chains by metall ones and the reilings were scatch built the same as a couple of other small items which I added to the model to make it a bit more attractive.
The painting of the hull was done with spray tins from a DIY store (gloss fire red and black) and the rest with a normal paint brush.
The rigging is made with EZ-Line (www.berkshirejunction.com), a very thin rubber string which is absolut fabulous for rigging ships in larger scales.
