1/250 Roman Warship 50BC (Academy)
This was mostly a OOB build, with the exception of the sails and Commanders tent. I added the sail reefing-brails ( the lines used to pull the sail up or down) and the brail rings which were made from sowing pins twisted around a needle-nose pliers. The tent was made from fabric I found at a local discount store. This was the first time I used Gator Grip, and Bob Kerr's dead-eye rigging tool. Thanks to both for making this an easy build. Overall a good fit and easy construction with a couple practice runs with the rigging tool I completed all the rest in just a couple of hours, made the whole thing fun to build.
