1/25 Sydney Harbour Ferry Sirius (Scratchbuilt)

The model is of a Sydney Harbour Ferry (First Fleet class) at Scale 1/25. The Sirus is under R/C with 2 - 12 volt motors and one 12 volt battery. The Sirus displayed here is in the colours it was originally commissioned in. I built the original mould for the hull out of wood and made a GRP hull out of it. This is the second time I have built it, first time was the "Friendship" and now the "Sirus". It seams to me every time I finish the model I end up selling it. The original idea behind this model was to build several amongst friends and race them like the real ships do on Australia Day. Looks like I'm building them but never getting the chance to race them. So this time I plan to build 3 of them. One has been sold before I even start to build it. I'm glad there are 9 different ships in Sydney to build models of. I hope to be able to keep at least one this time. Now all I have to do is pick a name for the next few I build, hmmm...
