This model represents a that appears in Jerry Pournelle’s novel “A Spaceship for the King.” In the story, a group of colonists from a planet with a technology equivalent to 19th Century Earth travel to a more primitive planet where they hope to find advanced technology. Once there, they convert a local ship that resembles a Greek oared warship to a craft with a more modern rig and equipment. This model shows the ship, the SUBAO, in that configuration.
