Titan II a 1920's VIC Coaster (Scratchbuilt)
The model is scrap built from what odds and ends I could find. The hull is 12mm MDF decks with hull panels from 3mm ply out off a skip (see attached photo of the hull skeleton). The scale is 1/24 and due to the strength and weight of the hull in one photo it shows the model being used to break ice on our lake. Its powered by a Ford windscreen wiper motor running off 12V, the model weighs in at 55lbs without the gel cell! so takes a lttle work to launch. Its around a 48" keel with a 14" beam and one of those models which will never be finished.
