Subject: Re: Getting back in touch PT pictures Date: Thu, 31 Jul 2003 17:23:58 -0700 From: "Don Macdonald" To: "Timothy Dike" Hello Tim Sorry I Have not seen any thing from ya in a long wile but I Know your busy and so have I latley I am doing 2 years of neglet of Honny do's that got put on the back bunner when Diane got hurt , With her doing alot better that old Honny Do list came up if you have any idea on what I am saying ;-) OK I redid a write up on the CVE was wondering did you get it if not let me know. I do remember you asking me about it and at that time I could not do much but I was able to do it later for ya . Kind of funny you did not get those Pt boat conversions Pictures ? OK Here is the information on it . This is a Dumouse PT that was scratch built kit bash with some of don's speicals The Pt came to me as a compleat mess lot of hull work had to be done and alot of clean up . The first thing I did was strip it down compleatly. Redid the deck , then started redoing alot more of the pt befor I even started building . I was given the a Linburg PT 1/32 SCALE THE DUMOUSE IN THE SAME SCALE the wooden kit , This person wanted me to see if I Could clean it up and do something with it , I change it from a mess to a nice pt , It had a single Rudder and prop , I turn it into a dual prop and rudder all brass, then added a set of 550s motors with all brass coupleings, with brass rods and stuffing Box's. then added a water cool Tiken speed controll, THE one that is set up for Marine use. Then added a standard 2 channel radio , Also set up with a 12 Volt jell cell battery, added alot of the lindburg parts, As well as some scratch buiding and also set it up with the como. I kind of did to look something like my own pt , It also had water cooling for the motors as well that built my self just by useing and bending alumion 1/8th tubing . Water pick ups were comming from out back be behine the props . OK Tim I will resend the pictures let me know if you get them as well as the CVE rewirte that I sent to ya I Hope you got it .
