Subject: Airfix Vosper MTB 1/72nd scale Date: Tue, 14 Oct 2003 14:08:28 +0200 From: "Turnbull, Mike" To: Hi Attached please find photos of my recently completed Airfix Vosper MTB for posting if suitable. This is my first completed ship model in 25 years, and is a bit of an experiment. I used the basic kit which had been lying in a friends garage for 10 years, and was horribly warped and had a few pieces missing. As the chances of accuracy were slim, I made use of the opportunity to add PE portholes and gunsights, white metal stanchions and a few bits and pieces. I also tried adding rust - as the Vospers were plywood, I then removed it again except where appropriate Regards Mike <> <> <> <> <> Michael W Turnbull Henley on Klip Gauteng Republic of South Africa +27 11 374 7928 ***************************************************************************** The information contained in this e-mail is confidential and may be subject to legal privilege.
