1/350 Vosper Motor Torpedo Boat (White Ensign)
My model of a Vosper Motor Torpedo Boat. It is the 1/350 resin kit from White Ensign. It has been on the market for some years so it lacks some of the finesse of more recent resin kits, however, once it gets mounted on its scenic base, it suddenly looks incredibly aggressive and full of power.
I'm pleased with the way all the foam and spray has come out. This was done by putting puddles of diluted PVA glue on the base and sticking lots of tiny tufts of torn toilet paper into it. I then highlighted it with some white paint as I was concerned that the paper might yellow over time. Next time I do it, I think I will try airbrushing some extremely diluted pale green/blue paint into the base of the spray to give some more depth.
