Vosper 70' MTB

1/72 Vosper 70' MTB (Revell Germany)

This model was built using the 1/72 Revell Vosper 70' Motor Torpedo Boat, infromation gethered from the internet, the book “Vosper MTBs in Action”byT.Garth Connelly and my own imaginations. I would like to say that this model does not represent the actual WW2 Royal Navy MTB 34.

I have modified the main deck, about 80% of it. The torpedo tubes, the machine guns/turret, amo locker, smoke generator, ship’s bow and hooks , hatches are sratch built from plastic cards, papers, cardboard, etc.

I like the unusal light gray and dark gray camouflage paint scheme of the Royal Navy MTB-34 Navy served at the North Sea during WW 2 and applied this camouflage on my model.
