OSA II

1/150 OSA II PTG (Poseidon)

I recently completed this hard-to-find injection-molded 1/150 OSA II PTG from POSEIDON. While I'm an IPMS member and have been modelling for 20 years, this is only my third ship model and my first submission to Modelwarships. Much of the kit was build from the box (as many photo-etch parts come with the kit); however, I added/improved the following:

• Cut hull for waterline model
• Added:
• A DSHK 12.7 machine gun
• Rear searchlight
• Cockpit serated flooring
• MV Lenses to replicate all search/signal lights
• Chain for the anchor
• All door opening locking wheels
• New rope/lines and holding reels
• Clear and/or green/red clear plastic position lights
• Punch-and-die instruments/gauges/dials.
• Replaced most decals with dry transfers
• Painted with PIT ROAD Soviet ship colors/paints (Grey & Red/Rust)
• Washed with artist oils and water-soluable inks and dry brushed.
