1/350 PC 461 Class Patrol Craft (Iron Shipwright)
This is the Iron Shipwrights 1:350 Patrol Craft (PC-461 class). She is pretty accurate in her depiction of most PCs of WWII, but I added a few modifications to make her even more correct. The two wing tubs on the structure were not included with the kit, but all PCs had these. These can be scratchbuilt fairly easily, but I had some tubs leftover from a previous Iron Shipwrights kit that worked perfectly. The kit also didn't include the crane, which was featured on almost all PCs. It was scratchbuilt from wire and nylon sewing thread. The round tub with the forward-most 20mm gun was also not included with the kit. The instructions said simply to add railing, but most PCs had the bottom portion (if not all) of the railing covered, giving it a "solid" appearance. Luckily I again had a leftover tub from a previous model that fit perfecty. I then modified the railing and added it onto the tub.
