1/700 BRP General Mariano Alvarez PS-38 (AFV Club Kitbash)
Heavily modifying the AFV CLub Pegasus PHM Hydrofoil kit that comes with the OH Perry Class Frigate, I came up with a Cyclone class vessel currently in service with the Philippine Navy, the BRP General Mariano Alvarez (PS 38). Railings are from generic rail sets, odds and ends came from the spares box and scratchbuilt, the chaff dispensers from a Skywave modern ship accessories kit, antennae being gauge 25 stylettes from spinal needles, the Philippine flag was handpainted, while the four .50 HMGs were actually 20mm gun kits from an Eduard DE PE kit. The RHIB ( Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat) was actually the first kit that came into being, coming from again the spares box, and I added again a 20mm gun made to appear like a .50 HMG, with two NAVSOG ( Naval Special Operations Group) personnel aboard the RHIB; and then I thought of mounting said RHIB aboard the PS 38 i built, based on operational pictures of said vessel in the PN
