1/72 P 420 Sparviero (Scratchbuilt)
The Italian Hydrofoil Missile Craft "P 420 Sparviero" in scale 1/72nd was my first attempt to build a ship replica without using a model kit. Except for the gun (Oto Melara 76/62 compact; Manufacturer: A.P.S. Models, Australia) and a few smaller fittings the Hydrofoil is completely scratchbuilt.
The model is based on detailed drawings realized by the italian shipmodel-club "Associazione Navimodellisti Bolognesi" in scale 1/50th. Thanks to the President of that club - he also assisted the realization of that model project in providing me with pictures of the original (not available on the internet).
