1/48 Barquentine Schooner Yorktown (Scratchbuilt)
This is my Scratch Built 1/48 Barquentine Schooner "Yorktown". I designed this vessel on my own and built her frame from Bamboo Skewers and a hot glue gun. I then carefully cover the frame with alternating layers of Duct Tape, forming a watertight hull. The rest is just adding ballast and sails with rigging and other details. She does actually sail on her own but is not R/C. This is my first post to this site and I know my model is not conventional but it's worth trying.
