There were a lot of problems with this kit. Some parts were seriously malformed from injection, others had a lot of flash on them and some, like the masts, were bad in geometry. There were holes in the deck to fit the mast plugs in, but when you fit them you directly notice that the masts are facing the starboard bow rather than directly forward. I had to cut the plugs off and mount the masts without real support in the deck.
I have built this ship for a customer who likes sailing ships, but has no real detailed interest. The ship isn't built to be 100% accurate rather than to be more or less appealing on the shelf.
