1/64 HMS Diana (Scratchbuilt)
A frigate of 1794. Built to the ship's plans from the National Maritime Museum. The model is to 1/64 scale making her 4.5ft long. Every plank has been laid separately, there are 2,500 copper plates and all the rope is home made. She took 2 years to build. To make the rope I had to make a rope walk and to serve the rope I had to make a rope serving machine.
