1/72 Golden Hind (Airfix)
This is the old Airfix kit of the Golden Hind, Sir Francis Drake's ship from the Elizabethan era.
It's all about the paint scheme on this one - very colorful. I did it by hand, so it's a bit heavy, but pleasing from a distance.
One of the nice things about this kit is it includes ratlines (in thread, not plastic) all ready to go, so you don't have to do them yourself on a loom. I just struggled through that process on my current build of the Airfix "Wasa," and it's not one I care to repeat!
