1/77 De Jonge Prins (Scratchbuilt)
I constructed the model between 1977 and 2005 from drawings and photographs of the original model in a nautical museum in Berlin. The original model was destroyed during the air raids on Berlin in WW II.
I made this model with leftovers from the local carpenter. The guns and anchors are cast from a mixture of lead and tin. The inside is according to those days (captains cabin ect.) Length is 130cm.
