1/200 Jolly Roger (Revell)
Here is a model I built earlier this summer. It is Revell's pirate ship "Jolly Roger".
The model is sold as 1/72 scale. Scaling this thing out, I think it is close to 1/200 scale. In 1/72, it would be only 36' long, about the size of a large cabin cruiser. It would comfortably accomodate only 6-7 pirates, and the doorways would be very low. At 1/200, it would be a generous 100'.
The model is built OOB, with the exceptions of additional rigging and "the plank".
It was a lot of fun to build, and I got to use some colors I don't usually get to.
