1/144 Wasa (Airfix)
Wasa is a really nice kit with a lot of small details molded in the plastic, which was a pleasant surprise considering that the scale is not that big. As usually Silvia did a great job with the paiting and the rigging. She followed the color scheme, but added a lot of small details and additional colors on the carvings, based on the Wasa museum website. We finally opted for the blue (as indicated by Airfix) instead of the red color scheme (which seems to be the correct one according to the Wasa museum website), as we just liked the blue one more - even if it is not historically correct. We added some additional rigging and ropes here and there, as well as some railing on the bow.
