1/100 West Wind Sailboat (Entex)
Here is something different, this is a very rare ENTEX sail boat plastic model I built a few years ago, the scale is 1/100. It is almost straight out of the box except for the mast and boom built from styrene sheet and tube to replace the original ones which were not very good. I also added the electronics mast and cockpit displays.It was sold under the name WEST WIND and represents a unusual center cockpit configuration. I elected to use the unique tilted display base that came with the model kit.The model also sports a mainsail and a jib I made from very fine synthetic material which do not appear in the photos. this rounded and ponderous hull form was certainly designed to increase interior space and habitability.
