1/90 North Atlantic Fishing Trawler (Lindberg)
Started this kit about 5 years ago then set aside for other activities. Recently started watching Discovery Channel's "Swords:Life on the Line' and decided to get back to it. Had done water tank and rudder years ago and even further years ago when doing a U-Boat, learned double-strand silver/Dark-purple thread simulated steel cable well, so stays/shrouds done with that. Kit was supplied with some red-thread, however I only used that for the mizzen boom tie-down.
Decals were 5 plus years old, so renamed from the supplied "Carol" decal to "Naxos".
Fun project. Yes, you can see I had a view 'issues'.
Oh, glued thin packaging plastic behind the wheelhouse windows, and in the right light, appears 'glassy'(plexi-glass).
Interestingly, I had planned on this color scheme, similar to one already here, before I even saw the one here. C'est la vie.
