1/350 ROCN Tugboat YTL-45 (Orange Hobby)
This is the Taiwanese Navy tugboat ROCN YTL-45. I used the 1/350 scale Orange Hobby kit of the YTL-45, as well as the Orange Hobby Yokosuka buoy kit. The tugboat has 240 individual pieces with 60 of those being added/fabricated by me. I added additional details to the ship using Gold Metal Models watertight doors, Gold Medal Models USS Buchanan photo etch set, White Ensign Models WW2 USN doors & hatches, various sizes of styrene strip/rod and brass wire, L'Arsenal naval figures, .006" copper wire to model the towing ropes, Dai-Riki .002" monofilament thread for the flag halyards, Gold Medal Models WW2 aircraft decals, and finishing with Model Master acrylic paint.
