The "SMIT ROTTERDAM" an "SMIT LONDON" sisterships were built by shipyard "De Merwede" at Hardinxveld-Giessendam (the Netherlands). The ocean-going salvage tugs have been designed especially to perform towages with very heavy objects over long distances and for salvage assistance to ships in distress.
This model was build out of the box, the railing was upgraded with etch-parts and the ridding was made out of fishing-lin e 0,1 mm, which was coloured after installation.
