Zwarte Zee IV
by Maarten Schönfeld

1/200 Tug Zwarte Zee IV, 1963 (Scratchbuilt)

The Zwarte Zee IV (Black Sea) was put into service in 1963, to regain the supremacy of this company to have the largest and strongest salvage tug in the world. Also a sister ship Witte Zee (White Sea) was built. By 1984 these ships were obsolete and scrapped, although to many these were the tugs designed with the best looks ever.

This model was built from scratch in 2004 as an experiment, but now I have a plan to develop a kit version of this model in this scale. The total length is 39 cm. Give me an email if you have an interest in a kit of this ship.
