1/500 Convoy Escort (Scratchbuilt)
With the shortage of escort vessels facing the Royal Navy at the beginning of the war, many ships were pressed into service. Using my bottomless parts box, I conjured one up.
The hull is wood, the bridge from an R class battleship. The funnel is from a Lindberg DE. The main gun is UPC. The high center of gravity would seem to have made her a little "tender" for ocean work but it was fun to do.
