1/700 AE 27 USS Butte (Scratchbuilt)
AMMO FOR THE FLEET. I worked off of photos to create USS Butte using balsa core, sheet plastic, note card, broom-stick bristle, and a few pieces from the parts box. Took a few tries to get hull shaped right. Fun build in small scale. I show her running with a Knox class frigate (also scratch-build), and a Military Sealift Command ship (scratch-build)..
