1/700 USS Kiska T-AE-35 (Ships & Co.)

The Ships & Co. Kilauea class kit is very good overall. It has few parts so assembly is quick and easy. The decal sheet has more decals than those needed for the kit so i used several decals on other kits. Same for the PE set. It is more a general use PE and there s more stuff than you may need for the kit. It is complete for a 1970s Kilauea and a good starting point for an 1980s-1990s one.

I chose to build the kit as the last of the class. I substituted the kit's Phallanx with JAG's and i added modern satcom antennas, SRBOC chaff launchers and various electronics that were not included in the kit.
