My attempt to convert a Iron Shipwright's T2 Tanker to a Cimarron Class T3 Oiler. The model is not fully completed as I havn't added rigging or crew yet. There are a lot of things that are different, like it being 30 ft shorter and 7ft narrower, but I hope I achived the general look of her in April 1942. The whole bow deck area was scratched built to include the 2 x 5 " enclosed guns on platforms and the rear deck and bridge also recieved the same workover. The raised deck was added to the aft area like the original and the measure 12 modified paint scheme was as close as I could, copied from the only photo I could find of her at the time.
