1/350 SS John W. Brown (Trumpeter)
Although my second build, this is my first submission. I choose the John W. Brown because it is well documented and a great learning opportunity for building scale model ships.
I used L'Arsenal figures and GHQ vehicles. The Liberty upgrade set is also from L’Arsenal. For the sea, Faller Premium Nature-Wasser was used.
Building the John W. Brown was fun and a challenge too. Made a few errors, but in the end I was satisfied with the result. Only the sea became not what I’ve hoped for.
As an building guide I looked at the model made by Peter van Buren. Various building tips from the forum section of this site where used.
