1/350 SS John W. Brown (Trumpeter)
This was a very enjoyable model to build. It was my first attempt including photoetch and resin parts. I tried implementing some of the building techniques suggested by Mike Ashey and patterned the ship after the outstanding L'Arsenal Liberty Ship built by Luciano Rizzato. The photoetch and resin parts were from L'Arsenal. They included the figures, trucks, both sized landing craft and the model upgrade set. These parts greatly enhanced the realism of the model and made it a much more enjoyable project. I am giving this model to my Uncle for his 85th birthday. He served aboard a Liberty Ship throughout the Pacific during World War II. t
