1/700 Drumgeith (Battlefleet)
1/700 scale Battlefleet Models resin kit of DRUMGEITH, with GMM Merchant ship photoetch.
Similar to Jim Baumann’s build of this kit but without the sails, and using a camo scheme inspired by the famous camo artist of WW1., Norman Wilkinson.
The model therefore represents no particular ship however it is an exercise in camouflage scheme painting alone.
Following Jim Baumann’s build of the same ship, I have used his references and build procedure to complete my kit.
Also, and as we all say, the kit represents excellent value for money, it is beautifully mastered, and like all BFM subjects it builds remarkably well – HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
