1/700 Liberty ship Amelia Amelia Earhart (Scratchbuilt)
The 1/700 scale model of the Liberty ship Amelia Earhart is scratchbuilt. The hull is monolyte, from one solid piece of plastic; the superstructure and other details are from plastic sheets and stretched sprue; the PE rails are from GMM.
I actually built 2 models- they were built simultaneously (shouldn't the Liberty ship be a serial production?:) ) - one for Amelia Earhart Birthplace Museum in Atchison, Kansas, to which I donated one model and second one for my own collection.
