1/400 AIDAdiva Cruise Liner (Revell)
The AIDA diva is a difficult to made model with many parts and colors!
when opened the box cannot assemble immediately, i suggested painted all
of the deck and life boat. After assembled the hull must be painted and
decal, because when finished it was hard to hold and decal the hull! When
all parts after painted you can assemble it! In Hong Kong the climate we
can't used enamel paint in air brush usually i used Mr. Color solvent-based
acrylic color for hand painted or air-brush, but many of the floor pattern
was yellow it was not easy to hand painted by Mr. color, i used Vallejo/
Life color to hand painted some of the yellow floor and green color floor
pattern other still using Mr. color for the beige, blue and white color.
the pool i did not used the water pattern decal, i used the Vallejo blue
& white color to painted it look like water. All of the transparent
parts i spray a smoke or black color on it, the interior of the superstructure
i used a black color paper to cover all of the window don't let it see
through the other side and this is why some of the culture wall also painted
in black! Photo etch is also Revell released it was a very good photo etch
for this ship!
