1/400 Queen Mary II (Revell)
This is the Revell’s 1/400 Queen Mary II with Gold Medal Models’s photo etch. Most of the parts are not fitting well, have a heavy putty works and many dry fittings. I used black color paper to cover all of the windows. clear plastic sheet spray with clear blue to make the pool’s water. The Glass safety railing also had clear blue or smoke sprayed on it. Hand railing mold on the wall are not raised enough it was replaced to 0.3mm plastic rod! The hard things are folding more 100 furniture, CCTV and glue on deck
The hull color was midnight blue not black or coral color. All of the black line on the superstructure corner are hand painted. The wood deck is hand painted with lot of brush to make it more look like real wood. The model had joined the 2011 Hong Kong Opening scale model competition and won a special prize.
