SS city of Rome British Atlantic liner 1881

SSROME-00

1/1250 SS City of Rome (Scratch-built)

This ship was a wrong project and is completely comparable to the real city of Rome ( nowadays Italy): too many problems, although her design is still among the most beautiful in the world (poor stability, limited power, few passenger spaces, obsolete materials, but very elegant clipper design).

SS city of Rome was one of the first liners to be lighted entirely by electricity.
