1/570 RMS Titanic (Revell Germany)
This is the Revell Germany 1/570 scale RMS Titanic, built straight out of the box and painted with Testor’s spray cans and Testors and Model Master bottle paints. The funnel color is Model Master Dark Tan, which I picked as the best match for the boxtop art.
This is the first model I have ever built. The only customizing we did was to drill out all the portholes with my Dad’s pin vice, which took a long time because there are so many of them. We did research on how to paint the model on the internet and by watching the movie Titanic. The two postcards are from a Titanic memorabilia exhibit that was in North Carolina.
