1/700 Supertanker Patricia B. (Scratchbuilt)
ModelWarships.com has been great about posting my 1/700 aircraft pictures so I felt I owed them a ship or two. So I unboxed and dusted off a few ship models from several years ago. These photos are of a scratchbuilt 1/700 supertanker. The hull is balsa wood and the superstructure and deck details are sheet plastic and tubing. GMM photoetch details. The ship is a generic composite modeled from photos of several different ships. Named after my wife – but that didn’t net me any points.
