1/350 ARA Santa Fe S-1 (Scratchbuilt)

The model represents the submarine ARA Santa Fe (S-1), which together with ARA Santiago del Estero (S-2) and ARA Salta (S-3) formed the first class of submarines of the Argentine Navy between 1933 and 1960. These ships were built in the shipyards of the city of Taranto, Italy, and from there comes its name as "Tarantinos" which were in fact a variant of the Italian Cavallini class. The model was made with plasticard sheets and some parts from other kits, like the main deck gun and photo-etched railings.
