The sails are my on. The subs are USS Torsk "Current Museum Measure" She has my new Portsmouth sail. The next boat is the black measure USS Carp with its Electric Boat Step sail, And then there is the USS Irex (red hull) with its Atlantic Sail, And last the USS Requin with its Museum Measure. I plan on doing more of these 1950's Fleet Snorkel & Guppy Submarines out of the lionfish kits. What's nice about them is that they don't take to long to build. The real Fleet Snorkel had a long life span for submarines. This meant that they were constantly refitted and upgraded so their appearance changed and changed, everything from sonar blisters, sails, limberholes,propeller guards,scope/masts arrays, some like the Torsk were once adapted for testing Regulas Missiles and also carried a 5" deck gun even with its step tower during its active life time.. There were constantly changed for all these apparatus roles. It would not be surprising to build 3-5 different submarines from each one of these name sakes for that individual sub.. Happy Modeling.
