1/400 U-boats (Mirage)

Here are two 1/400 scale U Boats by Mirage, part of an extensive series of U Boats Mirage has recently released in this scale. They are a VII C 41 Turm I, and a Type IID. The VIIC is of the "flak trap" type with additional AAA platforms fore and aft of the fairwater. I also included two "Biber" midget subs, one of them riding on the back of the VII C.

These kits are well-detailed with lots of small parts, particularly around the propulsion gear. This series really allows one to amass a full range of U Boat variants without a lot of scratchbuilding.
