U-201 in DryDock

1/72 U-201 in Dry Dock (Revell)

This is a 1/72 diorama who represent the U-201 of the commander Adalbert SCHNEE in 1942 when it is in the dry dock in Brest after his last cruise before to join Dönitz at the high command of the submarine fleet. The sub is the REVELL (of course) with many and many (!) more pieces in scratch like the cockpit, the torpedo and his in-side system, etc....

All cars and trucks comes from different manufactures like Italeri (Opel blitz) and fuel parts in resin from FM Detail Sets, Kubelwagen from Italeri, Tatra T57 (officers' car) from Attack Model, Einheitsdiesel from ZV Models, railways tractor Faun ZR come from Planet Models. There is 52 figures on this diorama coming from Preiser and CMK. The paved road (vacuform) come from Remi of Poland. All the rest of this diorama (dry dock, dry dock door, houses, crane are totally in scratch !
