1/400 DKM U-552 (Mirage Hobby)
This is my 1/400 DKM U-552. Actually this is a Mirage Hobby U-826 (? I guess). It was a U-boot type VII C turm 4, with the extention of the wintergarten and a schnorchel. But this kit includes option for bulid older version of the type VII C, so I just use that option & modified the conning tower as an older type VII C u-boot. I choose U-552 ‘Red Devil Boat’ as commanded by Erich Topp. Decals are self made printouts from transparent decal paper.
