1/72 U-552 Type VIIC (Revell Germany)
This kit was a my First Anniversary gift from my wife. I have been playing Silent Hunter 5 quite a bit, okay maybe too much, and so she gave me the perfect gift. This is my first model in over 7 years, but have learned a tremendous amount of tips and techniques from all of you here as I read this site faithfully everyday. the front rigging is from the kit and is thread. The back rigging is wire, I am pleased with both as I have never attempted rigging before.
The whole experience was nothing but great fun, the kit is wonderful, and basically built SOB. I also did some pre shading, weathering, and final coat of Future. Paints are Model Masters. thanks for humoring me, It was great fun.
