1/350 HMCS Ojibwa (Resin Shipyard)
This is the Resin Shipyard 1/350 scale kit. It was a very simple build. So simple in fact it went together in a couple evenings. The only problem I encountered was having to scratchbuild the propeller shafts and struts. The struts which came with the kit simply did not look right.
The real challenge is not building but painting. How to make interesting
what is essentially a black cylinder. I had to study a number of
photos of the H.M.C.S. Ojibwa and other Oberon class subs to get a feel
for how this ship looked when in service.
