1/350 HMS Thrasher (Pit-Road)
This is my Type 2 T-boat, built using the Pit Road kit (I'm not sure it had enough parts to really count as a kit). It's long out of production and over simplified in places, but can be easily brought up to scratch - I got this one (after a bidding war) from that internet auction site a few months ago, but I'm a sucker for RN submarines.
I made a couple of minor conversions to the tower to bring her forward to late war configuration and added the 20mm position. I had major problems with the release agent on this one - the usual washing didn't help, which left me stripping everything back to the resin, sanding all the surfaces and starting over.
There are a couple of great photos of HMS Thrasher returning to Portsmouth from the far east wearing the late war camouflage, but showing heavy paint chipping - hopefully I've captured the look of the original.
