1/300 Japanese Sub I-19 (Monogram)

This is the old Monogram kit of the WWII Japanese sub I-19.  This was done to "box scale" typical of the period, which in this case worked out to about 1/300.  Unlike many other older kits, however, this one is very well detailed and builds up into a nice model right out of the box.

The kit is hard to find, but can be found on occasion at hobby shops with lots of old stock or on E-bay.
