1/350 IJN I-400 (Tamiya)
This is my Tamiya 1/350 I-400 submarine. It is built basically out of the box, with some additional Tom’s Modelworks PE and Starfighter Decals. The paint scheme and aircraft markings were inspired by the book “I-400, Japan’s Secret Aircraft-Carrying Strike Submarine: Objective: Panama Canal” by Henry Sakaida, Gary Nila, and Koji Takaki (Hikoki Publications). A very interesting book and a great kit!
