1/700 IJN I-58 (Tamiya)
This is a weekend build of Tamiya's 1/700 I-58 (1945 fit) that I did over this last summer. Paint is Model Masters acrylic with chalk weathering. The water is made from tin foil and Modge Podge. The last 2 images show the size diffrence between the IJN, USN and Kreigsmarine subs of WWII, the I-58 is shown with a Skywave Gato being converted to a Balao and Hasegawa's 1/700 type 7 built a long time ago straight from the box. The I-58 built with a good set of PE could produce a real gem of a kit and I can't wait to get my Indianapolis done to go with it
