1/144 The Nautilus (Pegasus)
Last year I read “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea” by Jules Verne. I really enjoyed the book and its characters, but of course being a ship modeler, I had to build the submarine. Pegasus has a relatively new kit of the Nautilus that is a lot closer to the book’s description than the more well known Disney version. The kit is extremely well made and is very detailed. It captures the boiler-plate feel of 19th century machines. I added lights and finished it in a rusty metallic appearance. It really was a pleasure to build.
